Habber Tec is founded in Madrid, in the basement of a client’s office. Four engineers dream of changing the world through technology and start out offering training and outsourcing in enterprise information management and electronic banking. We take part in the first business intelligence and Data Warehouse initiatives in Spain.
Less than a decade after founding, Habber Tec crosses borders and starts operations in Caracas, Venezuela.
Habber Tec opens in Lisbon, launching its first competence centre in Portugal.
The merger with WG Systems creates Habber Tec Brazil. The group becomes international, covering Europe and the Americas, leading advanced analytics and process automation.
IBM selects us as the best BPM worldwide implementer. One of our first major international recognitions, consolidating our commitment to business process management as a transformation engine.
Habber Tec Mozambique is born, supported by the competence centre in Portugal, with pioneering projects in the financial sector. That same year we become one of the first companies in the world certified on IBM Watson, the pioneering artificial intelligence platform.
Habber Tec Brazil joins the GFT Brazil group. The Brazilian team and projects keep growing under the umbrella of the international group.
IBM recognises our technological excellence after more than 22 years of activity. Ricardo Argüello, Spain’s CEO, recalls: “we are still fueled by the spirit of innovation that inspired us in a basement back in 1997”.
The world shifts with the pandemic and cloud becomes a priority. IBM awards us Best Partner in Cloud Integration Software for integrating systems on cloud and sustaining the pace of innovation that traditional operations could no longer cover.
We open Habber Tec UK to reach British clients and clients from Spain, Portugal and Mozambique based in the United Kingdom. That same year IBM awards us Partner of the Year in Automation for our firm commitment to digital transformation.
